Berylium is currently a very introspective tool. Weblog entries are treated the same as documents: fundamentally, entries link to themselves, not to outside web pages.
I realized this as I was researching IRC weblogging bots today. When you trim weblogging down to its core, it is URL based. It's all about sharing URL's with folks.
Introspective yes, sometimes, and that must be accounted for, but mainly journalistic. Referencing something. You should not always have to lead with a URL... but it should be easy to do so if you want.
